Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets forth rules that apply to your use of any of CampusGroup, Inc.'s and its consolidated subsidiaries ("Campus," "us," "we," or "our") website, software, services, or equipment (in all cases, whether directly provided or licensed by Campus, and collectively, "Campus Services"). Your use of Campus Services must comply with this AUP. This AUP is not exhaustive, and Campus reserves the right to take remedial action in connection with content or uses not specifically described below, including and up to termination of your participation in the Campus Program. Campus may modify this AUP at any time by posting a revised version on Campus's website and updating the “Last Updated” date above.

Content Restrictions.

You will not use any Campus Services to upload, store, post or transmit content that:

  • Is obscene, defamatory, deceptive, harassing, abusive, threatening, hateful or discriminatory;
  • Is unlawful, or otherwise violates any applicable laws or regulations (including laws relating to the marketing or selling of controlled substances);
  • Violates anyone else's intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights; or
  • Contains viruses, malware, malicious code or similar harmful materials.

Prohibited Conduct.

You will not and will not attempt to:

  • Engage in deceptive, dishonest, or illegal activities, or any activities that violate Campus's policies (including, cheating on assignments or tests, “spoofing”, “phishing” or pyramid or similar schemes);
  • Transmit spam or other unsolicited communications to other students;
  • Use Campus Services in violation of any policies or codes of conduct;
  • Use Campus Services in violation of data, privacy or other applicable laws or regulations;
  • Use the Campus Services to engage in, promote, support or facilitate hateful, discriminatory or violent activities, whether online or offline; or
  • Engage in any activity that we reasonably believe will cause liability to us or otherwise negatively impact us, the Campus Program, or any faculty, other students, or other parties.

No Disruption.

You will not and will not attempt to:

  • Access the Campus Services through unauthorized means;
  • Disable or interfere with the Campus Services or circumvent any security or access controls;
  • Probe, scan, penetrate or test the vulnerability of Campus's system or network; or
  • Try to access others' data without their express permission.

Others.

You will not permit or encourage others to commit any of the actions above.

We monitor compliance with this AUP and may investigate any violations, including without any additional notice to you and/or in your absence. If we determine that you or your content violates this AUP, we may limit/suspend/terminate your access to Campus Services or participation in the Campus Program.

We may report any activity that we suspect violates any law or regulation to law enforcement officials, regulators, or other appropriate third parties, and cooperate with them to investigate and prosecute illegal conduct. Our reporting may include disclosing information related to the violation of this AUP.

If you become aware of any suspected violation of this AUP, please notify us at privacy@campus.edu and provide a full explanation of the bases for the violation. We may request your assistance to help stop or remedy the violation, and you will cooperate and assist us in connection with any such violation.
