Veteran and Military Student Benefits
Campus, formerly known as MTI College, is eligible for US veteran and active military educational benefits.
All Sacramento career training programs through Campus, formerly known as MTI College, are eligible for US veteran and active military financial benefits. The following information describes the main features of certain military educational assistance programs. To determine your eligibility, contact an Campus financial advisor or learn more through the Department of Veteran Affairs.
Veteran's Education Benefits: Ch 30, 31, 35, 1606, 1607
Under these programs, benefits are typically paid to students instead of to institutions, and the amount of assistance will depend on how many units students are enrolled in.
- Montgomery GI Bill® (Chapter 30): Provides up to 36 months of education benefits and can be used for various educational programs, including college degrees and technical courses.
- Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) (Chapter 31): Assists veterans with service-connected disabilities (20% or higher) in achieving employment goals through tuition, books, fees, and housing assistance.
- Survivors and Dependents Educational Assistance Program (Chapter 35): Offers up to 45 months of educational benefits to dependents of veterans who are permanently disabled due to a service-related condition or who died while on active duty.
- Selected Reserve (Chapter 1606): Offers benefits to members of the Selected Reserve (Army Reserve, Air Force Reserve, Navy Reserve, Marine Corps Reserve, Coast Guard Reserve, Army National Guard, Air National Guard).
- Reserve Educational Assistance Program (Chapter 1607): Provides reservists who were activated for at least 90 days with benefits or increased benefits.
GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government website at http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.
Post 9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33)
If you have completed at least 90 days of aggregate military service or were discharged with a service-related disability after 30 days since September 10, 2001, you may be eligible for the Post 9/11 GI Bill®. Under this revised GI Bill®, tuition and fee expenses are paid directly to the school, and students receive an additional stipend for books, supplies, and housing. If students are eligible for both the Montgomery GI Bill® and the Post 9/11 GI Bill®, they must choose which one to use. Speak with a Campus financial advisor to weigh which option would be the best fit for you.

The 2022-2023 Military Friendly® Schools list will be published in the May issue of G.I. Jobs magazine and can be found at www.militaryfriendly.com/. Methodology, criteria, and weightings were determined by Viqtory with input from the Military Friendly® Advisory Council of independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining the institution's survey scores with the assessment of the institution's ability to meet thresholds for Student Retention, Graduation, Job Placement, Loan Repayment, Persistence (Degree Advancement or Transfer) and Loan Default rates for all students and, specifically, for student veterans.
Military Friendly's National Director Josh Rosen stated, “Our ability to apply a clear, consistent standard to colleges creates a competitive atmosphere that encourages colleges to invest in programs to provide educational outcomes that are better for the Military Community as a whole.”
