Sacramento Paralegal Training Program
The American Bar Association has adopted the following definition, as of February 2020:
“A paralegal is a person, qualified by education, training or work experience who is employed or retained by a lawyer, law office, corporation, governmental agency or other entity and who performs specifically delegated substantive legal work for which a lawyer is responsible.”
Campus, formerly MTI College, offers a vast selection of Legal Degree Programs that prepares students to work as a paralegal in both the private and public sectors. Our legal programs in Sacramento, California include courses to earn a Paralegal Associate of Arts Degree and Legal Administrative Assistant Certification. Graduates are prepared for employment in legal offices both in Sacramento and the United States in a wide range of law practices including criminal, civil, and family law.
Students' class schedules are pre-determined and guaranteed available to ensure that they complete the paralegal programs on time. Smaller class sizes further enhance your learning experience.
To provide our students with additional flexibility, the Second Year coursework for the Paralegal Degree Program is taught in synchronous online classes.
The Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate Program is NOT American Bar Association approved and it does not prepare students to work as paralegals.
